2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month*

A fortnightly science club for older children. As a guide, we expect the students to be around secondary school age, or to be able to concentrate for a longer period of time. We are running a Junior Science Club for younger students on different weeks.

Tutors with professional backgrounds in science education will be leading the session, and teaching students new skills. We have an excellent supply of good quality materials and tools. Students are welcome to continue their science projects during the afternoon drop-in session.

Member’s Price: £2/session per participating child

Non-Member’s Price: £3/session per participating child

Venue: Westhoughton. Full address details available on our private google group at

When booking, please state your child(ren)’s name and age. Please note you must be logged in to access the member’s price.

*Please note that we are awaiting the outcome of a grant to ensure that we can run these sessions for the full autumn term. The first session will be run as a trial funded by BAHE. After this, subject to funding, we may need to alter the structure of the sessions or increase prices. If we need to do so and you no longer wish to attend, you will be offered a full refund on the future sessions. Please book now to secure your place.

This event is fully booked.
